May 1—BISMARCK — A winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Hugo’s Family Marketplace in Jamestown.
The ticket for Wednesday night’s draw matched four white balls and the Powerball.
The winning numbers were 1, 2, 3, 57, 59, and the Powerball was 9. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
The prize was $50,000, but the player also purchased the Power Play option, making the ticket worth $100,000.
Hugo’s, located at 310 1st Ave. S in Jamestown, will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket.
The prize must be claimed at the North Dakota Lottery office in Bismarck within 180 days of the draw date.
“As the temperatures are rising in North Dakota, so are the winnings for lottery players,” said Randy Miller, interim director of North Dakota Lottery. “In addition to this six-figure Powerball win, we’ve also had a $60,000 Lotto America with All Star Bonus win, a $20,000 Lotto America win, a 2by2 jackpot win of $22,000 and nearly a dozen other prizes, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, since the start of spring in March.”
The Powerball jackpot for the Saturday, May 3, draw is $44 million.
