PERRYVILLE, AR – A second death has been linked to the apparent suicide of former Bill Clinton advisor Mark Middleton in early May, with an Arkansas woman that had ties to both Middleton and Clinton – and who had reportedly vowed to “expose” their alleged connection to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein – having also been discovered dead.
Ashley Haynes, 47, a yoga teacher and mother of two from the Little Rock suburb of Maumelle, had originally disappeared on January 12 after leaving to go on a paddle boarding trip; she left a note on the kitchen table for her family that read, “on the water, love you all.”
After having been reported missing, Haynes’ dead body was later found four days later in the Arkansas River where authorities say she had drowned; her ankle had been bound to a 58-pound concrete block by an electrical extension cord, and a renowned forensic expert Dr. Cyril Wecht noted that “foul play” cannot be ruled out of the incident.
Haynes’ death came just months prior to the alleged suicide of Middleton, 59, who was found on May 7 on a farm just outside Perryville, Arkansas hanging by the neck from a tree by an extension cord with a shotgun wound through his chest cavity.

A source close to Haynes has reportedly told the media that her friend would never have taken her own life, and strongly suspects that her death was far more than a mere suicide.
“It didn’t make any sense. She would never kill herself,” the friend said. “When I heard she went missing, I knew instantly it was foul play. I don’t believe she killed herself. How could she water paddle down the river with a concrete block?!”
Adding to the intrigue surrounding Haynes’ death is a report that a business associate of Middleton’s has claimed he saw her visiting the former Clinton advisor’s office prior to her passing to talk about an “urgent” matter.
“I saw her in Mark’s office! I was leaving and he [Middleton] was telling me that he had a very important meeting…and that’s the woman who came in!” the business associate reportedly said. “I don’t know if there is any connection there or not, but I know that it was shocking to me to hear she drowns while paddling in the Arkansas River. Then Mark mysteriously dies a few months later?”
Sources say that Haynes had “vowed” to expose details about an alleged sex trafficking ring involving minors that was run by Epstein and the Clintons, although these reports are unconfirmed at this time.
So far there has been a growing body count among associates of Clinton and Epstein, who himself committed a highly-suspicious suicide in 2019 in a Manhattan jail while awaiting federal sex-trafficking charges involving minors.
In addition to the baffling deaths of Middleton, Haynes and Epstein, close Epstein associate Jean-Luc Brunel, 76, hung himself in his Paris, France jail cell in February, where he was being held on allegations that he had raped minors and trafficked them for sexual exploitation. In addition, Steve Bing, 55 – also a close associate of Clinton and Epstein – purportedly committed suicide in 2020 by jumping from a building in Los Angeles, California.
