NEW DELHI: A part from 123 terrorist incidents in J&K, there was one terror attack each in Punjab
, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu
until November 2022, the home ministry apprised the Rajya Sabha on Wedenesday. While there were 62 fatalities in J&K, of which 31 were security personnel and 31 civilians, no person was killed as a result of the three terror attacks in the country’s hinterland.
While Punjab had witnessed a rocket-propelled grenade attack on the state police’s intelligence wing headquarters at Mohali in May, there was a bomb blast in an explosives-laden car in front of Kottai Eswaran temple in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore in October 23. On November 19, an autorickshaw blast was reported in Mangalore, Karnataka.
