With Karnataka set to go to the polls next year, the Congress has announced a 10-point charter for the development of the Kalyan-Karnataka region. Addressing people at Karnataka’s Gulbarga, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said he would try to fully implement Article 321 (J), which the Congress had brought out for the region in 2013 if the party is voted to power in the 2023 assembly elections. Kharge also promised Rs 5,000 crore per year for the development of the region, fill up posts for 50,000 government jobs and also create 1,00,000 private jobs.
