By Srishti Ojha: Jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister Satyendar Jain moved to the Supreme Court challenging Delhi High Court’s December 1 order seeking the Enforcement Directorate’s response to his bail plea in connection to a money laundering case.
The Supreme Court will hear his case on Monday, December 12. A bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice Ravindra Bhat will hear the case. Jain has sought directions for an expeditious hearing of his bail plea.
Delhi High Court, through its December 1 order, had allowed three weeks’ time for the ED to file their response to Jain’s plea challenging the trial court’s order rejecting his bail plea.
