By Gopi Maniar Ghanghar : Fresh trouble seems to be brewing for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Gujarat as it struggles to keep its newly elected party MLAs from defecting. Amid speculation that Bhupat Bhayani will join the BJP in Gujarat, the AAP MLA has come forward to clarify his stance.

Speaking to India Today on Sunday, AAP MLA Bhupat Bhayani dismissed reports that he will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has retained power in Gujarat for the seventh consecutive term.

“I am not going to join the BJP. I will ask the public what they want and then make a decision,” Bhupat Bhayani said.

He, however, indicated that he would support the saffron party from outside, without formally joining it.
