Institute of NSW Real Estate CEO Tim McKibbin says it is “purely politics” if rental bidding is outlawed this Saturday.
“The fundamental problem we have is a lack of supply of property,” Mr McKibbin told Sky News Australia.
“The government is trying to divert the attention away from itself and blaming landlords, blaming real estate agents.”
