By Pramod Madhav: Speaking exclusively to India Today, DMK Youth Wing Secretary and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin addressed the rumours surrounding him getting a ministerial berth in his father’s cabinet during the upcoming reshuffle. Udhayanidhi didn’t confirm or deny the rumours and said, “Whatever it is, the chief minister will make the announcement, I can’t comment on it.”

Earlier, highly placed sources within DMK confirmed that Udhayanidhi will soon be made a minister during the cabinet reshuffle. According to sources, Udhayanidhi will be given the portfolio of Sports and Youth Welfare and made the 35th minister in CM Stalin’s cabinet reshuffle which is expected to take place on December 14.

Meyyanathan Siva V is the current sports and youth welfare minister.

The cabinet shuffle might also see the Revenue and Disaster Management department and Cooperative society department interchanged between I Periyasamy and KKSSR Ramachandran.
