BOKARO: A four-day-old infant was allegedly trampled to death by cops during a raid at a village in Jharkhand’s Giridih.
Cops had gone to arrest Bhusan Pandey, an absconder wanted in an assault case. “We heard a knock at the door and when we realised it’s police, we all left, but my son was left on the bed. Cops searched the house and left. When we went in, we found the boy lying still,” said the infant’s mother. His father Ramesh said, “He died after being trampled under the boots of some cops, who didn’t notice him.”
