Nominations are now open for the annual 12 Under 40 awards, presented by the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and the Tribune-Star.
Established in 2015, the award recognizes young professionals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions in their workplaces and through volunteer efforts.
“Each year we receive an abundance of nominations that showcase the inspiring talent and leaders we have in our region,” Kristin Craig, president and CEO of the Terre Haute Chamber and a 2016 honoree, said in a news release. “It is a privilege to give them the recognition they deserve.”
The 12 honorees will be recognized during a special ceremony at the Chamber’s 112th Annual Meeting Aug. 21 at the Terre Haute Convention Center. Each honoree will receive a physical award and will be featured in the 12 Under 40 publication by the Tribune-Star.
Nominations will close July 15; award recipients will be selected by a committee made up of community leaders.
Nominations can be made by filling out an online form on Terrehautechamber.com/12under40.
To be eligible, nominees should not turn 40 on or before Jan. 1, 2026. They must live or work in west central Indiana.
