A 24-year-old woman from Lake Mary is dead after an early morning single-vehicle crash in Orange County on Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
At around 5:13 a.m. 2018 Honda Accord, driven by the woman, was traveling on the northbound on State Road 429 entrance ramp from S.R. 453, FHP said.
The woman was traveling above the posted speed limit and failed to negotiate a curve, FHP said. As a result, the sedan ran off the roadway right and struck a concrete overpass support.
FHP said the woman was pronounced dead on-scene.
This crash remains under investigation.
