5-year-old shot, killed at DeKalb County apartment complex
Police are conducting an investigation after a 5-year-old was found dead at a DeKalb County apartment community.
Officers were called to Pleasant Point Drive off Wesley Chapel Road just after 2:30 p.m.
Police confirmed the child was shot and killed, but has not identified the victim.

NewsChopper 2 flew over the area and found at least five police units gathering at one apartment.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
