New Mexico State Police shot and injured a suspect in southern Santa Fe Friday, the agency announced in a social media post.
The person survived the shooting and was arrested afterward.
The post did not state how many state police officers fired their weapons or give any details about the person who was shot. The incident occurred on Reata Road, off the West Frontage Road in the southwestern part of the city.
The agency said “the suspect is injured and in custody” and “officers are okay.”
