“It has been a privilege to contribute to the growth and development of Orange City. I am grateful for the many opportunities I have had to work for dedicated City Councils, and alongside so many talented staff members,” Arrington wrote in her resignation letter. “I also deeply appreciate the support provided by citizens as Orange City worked to meet new challenges.”
Her final day is Aug. 29, 2025.
Arrington pledged to assist in a “smooth transition,” as the council determines its next steps.
Madie McCallister, the city’s public information officer, said the City Council will discuss the transition at its next scheduled meeting on Aug. 12.
