STAR-ADVERTISER STAR-ADVERTISER A 22-year-old man called Honolulu police Saturday afternoon after an argument with his 22-year-old wife escalated to the point she allegedly pulled a hunting knife on him.
The man was “engaged in a verbal argument ” with his wife when his wife “brandished a hunting knife during the argument which caused the husband to fear for his life.”
Police arrived on scene and the suspect was located, identified and arrested without incident, according to the Honolulu Police Department.
The man’s wife was arrested at a California Avenue home in Wahiawa at 1 :37 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of terroristic threatening in the first degree.
