Police arrested a Derry man early Sunday morning after gunshots rang out on Wentworth Lane.
Miguel Moralez, 58, was arrested and charged with felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
At 3:48 a.m., the Derry Police Department received a report of possible gunshots coming from the area of 23 Wentworth Lane. Responding officers isolated the area and asked neighbors to stay inside their homes while they investigated the report, police said.
Investigators remained at the scene until around 2 p.m. and executed a search warrant of the residence.
“Due to the serious nature of the call, the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit was requested and deployed to the scene,” police said in a news release.
No one was injured, police said. The investigation is ongoing and police said there was no threat to the public.
Moralez was held on preventative detention awaiting his arraignment on Monday.
