MASSILLON – The 18th annual Amanda J. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship fundraiser is slated from 4 to 9 p.m. July 30 at Buffalo Wild Wings, 235 Lincoln Way W.
The event raises up to $1,000 for a four-year Washington High School band member who is going to college in the fall.
Cunningham was a four-year member of the WHS band, who played bassoon, trumpet and mellophone. She died in a car crash on May 3, 2003.
Thirty-nine students have benefited from the fundraiser since it started in 2007.
Fifteen percent of all food and nonalcoholic beverage purchases during the time of the event go toward the scholarship fund.
