Jul. 28—CHURCHS FERRY, N.D. — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the 67-year-old Jamestown woman who was found dead Saturday, July 26, in a submerged vehicle in a lake near Churchs Ferry.
Rita Kubat was driving 1999 Toyota Camry that entered the west ditch and rolled over large rocks before coming to rest on its roof in Stink Lake, the patrol said. The exact date and time of the accident are unknown.
Kubat was pronounced dead at the scene.
The patrol is investigating the crash.
