Fitchburg police are investigating a car crash Sunday, July 27, that killed a 39-year-old city resident.
Police did not immediately release the name of the victim.
Police responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of South Street and Norval Avenue at 8:51 p.m. The crash involved two vehicles, and all occupants were transported to areas hospitals for evaluation and treatment.
City police are working with the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Reconstruction Team to determine the circumstances.
