Lundberg and Wicht both suffered injuries the State Patrol described as life-threatening. According to the State Patrol accident report, the airbags in their vehicles deployed, but neither man was wearing a seat belt.

Both were transported to the CCM Health Hospital in Montevideo for treatment.

Kabisch was uninjured in the crash. She was wearing her seat belt. The airbag did not deploy.

Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash reported at 1:27 p.m. Sunday, and alcohol is not involved, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
