EAU CLAIRE — A man who faced 15 separate felony cases in Eau Claire County will received a six-year prison sentence, but will receive credit for more than a year spent in jail while his case was pending.
Domanick Abrams, 28, faced charges ranging from burglary and receiving stolen property to drug and weapons charges. Most were low-level felony counts. The cases were grouped into two sets. The first brought a six-year sentence with five years’ extended supervision, while the second resulted in a three-year prison sentence and two years’ extended supervision.
Those sentences will run concurrently. He received 431 days of credit on one of the charges, and smaller amounts on several others.
Abrams and Racquel Krueger were arrested last year. Each faced more than a dozen separate criminal cases, many of which involved bail jumping charges filed for crimes committed after an initial arrest.
Krueger received a five-year prison sentence in January.
The most serious charges against Abrams were second degree recklessly endangering safety and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The criminal complaints in the cases said the pair stole numerous items, ranging from cash and wallets to a sword and speakers. Many of those items were then sold online.
