Several people were hospitalized after a three-car crash involving an Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) trooper Tuesday night, an Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatcher confirmed.

The crash happened on U.S. 35 east between the N. Fairfield Road and Factory Road exits around 10:30 p.m.

The trooper had another car pulled over on a traffic stop in the area when the crash occurred, the dispatcher confirmed.
The vehicle pushed the cruiser into the car it had stopped.
The two drivers, the trooper, and a person riding along with the trooper were hospitalized with suspected minor injuries, according to the dispatcher.
News Center 7 crews on scene saw several Greene County Sheriff’s Office deputies blocking the highway, but it has since reopened.
It is unclear how this crash occurred.
