Louisville Wing Week is back! Your complete guide to enjoying $8 wings at area restaurants

Must read

Louisville Wing Week is ready to take flight.

The annual week-long celebration of “dangerously delicious wing deals” returns Sept. 8-14 with plenty of Louisville restaurants serving up savory wings with whatever seasoning, sauces, or dips they choose, all for $8.

Wing deals vary by location, but at many participating restaurants, you can score six or seven chicken wings for just $8.

At Blind Squirrel, 592 N. English Station Road, you’ll get seven wings for $8 with your choice of six flavors — spicy garlic, buffalo, a house signature dry-rub seasoning, parmesan garlic, hot honey, or spicy parmesan garlic.

Highland’s favorite 80/20 at Kaelin’s, 1801 Newburg Road, will offer dry-brined wings served with your choice of unique sauces like watermelon serrano, carrot ginger, chipotle beet, sesame soy, brown butter buffalo, and house barbecue. And Agave & Rye plans to offer creative specials, such as the “Thai-Ed With Benefits,” featuring Frenched drumsticks with Thai peanut sauce, mango pico, pickled red onions and cilantro, and “The Birdie Sanders Epic Taco,” made with egg fried rice, diced mango colada chicken, gochujang aioli, mango pico, and pickled red onion, at the taco joint’s two area locations: 426 Baxter Ave. and 324 E Main St., New Albany, Ind.
