Weaving history
The Coronado Historic Site is hosting Hopi basket maker Leslie Randolph Robledo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, for a demonstration on wicker plaque weaving and creating yucca baskets. Robledo will also have a selection of basketry for purchase. Admission is $7 for adults, at nmhistoricsites.org/coronado, and free for children 16 and younger and other qualified individuals.
