A York Haven man stands accused of threatening to shoot “six or seven people” at his workplace after a dispute over a forklift, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case.
Stephen Paul Eisele, 58, of the 2900 block of Old Trail Road, was charged with making terroristic threats, a misdemeanor, after the July 15 incident at York Wall Coverings in the 2000 block of Loucks Road, according to the complaint.
West Manchester Township Police Officer Joseph Staley wrote in the complaint that Eisele went to a manager’s office and was agitated that another co-worker had used his forklift and “threatened to bring a gun to work if he got fired.” Eisele told his manager he had a “12 mag” at home and was “counting clips in his head,” according to the complaint.
Staley spoke with Eisele, who told him that he had been using his forklift in the warehouse when a co-worker approached him and asked to use the machine. He told the co-worker that he needed to use it. He told the officer that he climbed out of the machine to do something else in the warehouse for a few minutes and when he returned, he found his co-worker using the machine. He told the officer he did not speak to Eisele and went to the office, where he made the threats, Staley wrote in the complaint.

“Eisele went as far as to say that if he came back to shoot an employee that he might as well shoot multiple people,” Staley wrote. “Eisele stated that given his current age, he would only have to serve 10 years in prison.”
Eisele was fired on the spot, according to the complaint. Eisele told his manager “he would ‘get his'” as he drove away.
Eisele could not be reached for comment.
