Pre-orders for the new range of iPhones debuted earlier in the week started Sept. 12 and fans are ready.
The iPhone 17 lineup is headlined by the addition of the iPhone 17 Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus model that served as the company’s second tier phone. The Silicon Valley giant touts it as their slimmest phone offering ever.
The Sept. 9 “Awe Dropping” event saw incremental upgrades across the iPhone range, with Apple stating that all phones would have “all day battery life” and the Air, Pro and Pro Max models utilizing Ceramic Shield 2.

What time do iPhone 17 pre-orders open?
Pre-orders open at 8 a.m. ET (5 a.m. PT) on Friday, Sept. 12 for the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, according to the tech giant. The phones will be available for consumers beginning Friday, Sept. 19.

The iPhone 17 Air will be available in Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White, and Space Black, in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities.
iPhone 17 Pro
iPhone 17 Pro Max
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be available in Silver, Cosmic Orange, and Deep Blue, in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. The Pro Max also has a 2TB storage capacity available.
When will the iPhone 17 be available for purchase?
The iPhone 17 line will launch Friday, Sept. 19.
