Newly released data from Realtor.com for June shows that potential buyers and sellers in Fond du Lac County saw lower home sale prices than the previous month’s median of $267,000.

The median home sold for $255,000, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows. That means June, the most recent month for which figures are available, was down 4.5% from May.

Compared to June 2024, the median home sales price was up 10.9% compared to $230,000.

Realtor.com sources sales data from real estate deeds, resulting in a few months’ delay in the data. The statistics don’t include homes currently listed for sale and aren’t directly comparable to listings data.

  • Looking only at single-family homes, the $260,000 median selling price in Fond du Lac County was down 3.9% in June from $270,500 the month prior. Since June 2024, the sales price of single-family homes was up 13% from a median of $230,000. Three single family homes sold for $1 million or more during the month, compared to one recorded transactions of at least $1 million in June 2024.

  • Condominiums and townhomes increased by 2% in sales price during June to a median of $249,900 from $245,000 in May. Compared to June 2024, the sales price of condominiums and townhomes was up 24.3% from $201,000. No condominiums or townhomes sold for $1 million or more during June.

About recorded home sales in Fond du Lac County in Wisconsin

In June, the number of recorded sales in Fond du Lac County rose by 6.2% since June 2024 — from 146 to 155. All residential home sales totaled $47.6 million.

Across Wisconsin, homes sold at a median of $309,615 during June, a slight decrease from $310,272 in May. There were 8,137 recorded sales across the state during June, up 7.1% from 7,597 recorded sales in June 2024.
