Sunshine, passing clouds, and dry skies Friday afternoon will give way to spotty rain chances overnight, as the first of several disturbances tracks across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Scattered, low-impact rain chances and mild temperatures will continue through the weekend and early next week as a seasonable but active early fall pattern persists across the region.
Sunshine and low 80s Friday afternoon will be followed by increasing clouds for the evening and a 20% – 30% chance of isolated showers after sunset and overnight lows in the mid to low 60s. Periods of cloud cover, peaks of sunshine and a 40% chance of spotty t-showers continues Saturday, with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. Another slight chance of showers arrives Sunday, with widespread rain more likely along and south of I-70. Highs Sunday afternoon will warm to near 80 degrees with sun and clouds.
