Compared to June 2024, the median home sales price was down 8.7% compared to $395,000.
Realtor.com sources sales data from real estate deeds, resulting in a few months’ delay in the data. The statistics don’t include homes currently listed for sale and aren’t directly comparable to listings data.

Looking only at single-family homes, the $360,500 median selling price in Shasta County was down 5.9% in June from $383,000 the month prior. Condominiums and townhomes decreased by 35.5% in sales price during June to a median of $354,500 from $550,000 in May. Compared to June 2024, the sales price of condominiums and townhomes was down 4.2% from $370,000. No condominiums or townhomes sold for $1 million or more during June.

In June, the number of recorded sales in Shasta County dropped by 7.8% since June 2024 — from 206 to 190. All residential home sales totaled $76.6 million.
Across California, homes sold at a median of $762,671 during June, up 1.5% from $751,349 in May. There were 27,228 recorded sales across the state during June, a slight increase from 27,186 recorded sales in June 2024.
