VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A recent report shows that gas prices have continued to drop as we enter the fall months, continuing a trend that began at the start of September.
According to the newest report from AAA Tidewater Virginia, the average national price for a gallon of gas today is $3.15, down five cents from last week and six cents from this time last year. Meanwhile, Hampton Roads prices have remained at $2.98 from last week to today, but are down 15 cents from this time one month ago.
The report also reiterates that drivers’ fall routines and the increased production of winter-blend gasoline should continue to bring lower prices throughout the Winter.
