Sauchuck Farm on the South Shore of Massachusetts is famous for its annual corn maze, and this year, the shape of the maze was created to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
Last year, the farm offered up a maze honoring the 100th anniversary of the Boston Bruins, featuring the team logo and two hockey sticks.
The corn maze at the farm has been bringing joy to people on the South Shore and beyond since 2007, and one of the reasons is that it is always creating “additional activities (and) learning experiences” on an annual basis.

It is in the shape of a Revolutionary War minuteman, as the maze is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, coming up on July 4, 2026.

Is the Sauchuck Farm maze currently open for the season?
Yes, it opened Sept. 13, 2025 and will stay open through Oct. 26, 2025. The maze will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The last admission time each day will be at 5 p.m.
Are tickets required?
You can buy non-refundable tickets online for $22.95, or you can purchase refundable tickets online for $27.95.
Tickets for people ages 3 and up will also be available at the venue gate (assuming they are still available) for $29.95.
The corn maze in 2022 at Sauchuck’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch was a nod to former Boston Red Sox player David “Big Papi” Ortiz. In 2025, the maze is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
What to know about Sauchuck Farm
According to the farm’s website, Scott Sauchuk “grew the first large-scale corn maze in the eastern Massachusetts region” back in 2007.
“Our first maze celebrated the tercentennial of Plympton, Massachusetts, the home of the farm,” according to the Sauchuck website. “From the beginning, it was a success, attracting thousands of people, especially young families, to experience wide open expanses of farmland and enjoy healthy physical activities, pick-your-own pumpkins, and fun games.”
The passage added that the farm has an “exclusive regional contract with the world’s largest cornfield maze company, THE MAiZE,” which allows the farm “to draw on a huge network of expertise across the country to bring you world class maze designs and creative agricultural entertainment.”
