(WJW) — The apples are ripe and the pumpkins are growing, so it’s a perfect time to start planning your fall festivities.

Here at Fox 8 News, we’ve compiled a list of local pumpkin patches, corn mazes and apple picking to celebrate the season.

AMHERST

Hillcrest Orchards is located at 50336 Telegraph Rd. in Amherst. The Farm Market is open daily through November 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pick your own pumpkins and apples, the corn maze and other activities are available every weekend through November 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

ASHLAND

The Honey Haven Fall Festival in Ashland will be held from September 27 through October 26. An 8-acre family-friendly corn maze, an indoor straw maze for kids, a barnyard zoo, and pick your own pumpkins are just some of the activities guests can enjoy. There is also a weekly craft show, as well as all sorts of fall-themed treats.

The fall festival is open on Fridays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sundays from noon to 6 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Thursdays for the corn maze, pumpkin picking and country store.

BRUNSWICK

From the Apple Cider Donut Eating Championship to the Pumpkin Village and Johnny Appleseed Festival, Mapleside Farms in Brunswick has something for everyone to enjoy throughout the fall season. Fall festivities begin on September 13 and go through October 26.

CHESTERLAND

Apple picking is now underway at Patterson Fruit Farm in Chesterland! The Patterson Fruit Farm Family Fun Fest will also be open September 13 through November 2. At the Fun Fest, you will find a corn maze, wagon rides, play areas and more.

COLUMBIA STATION

The Old West Pumpkin Fest at Rockin’-R-Ranch is open on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. September 27 through November 2. There will be pumpkin patch hayrides, pony rides, slides, animal petting, plenty of activities for kids, food and more.

ELYRIA

The Schuster’s Greenhouse pumpkin patch is now open daily for the fall season. “Bring the family out to enjoy a ride through the farm, pick your favorite pumpkins, and make memories that will last all season long,” the Schuster’s Facebook page says.

HARTVILLE

The Kingsway Pumpkin Farm offers an 8-acre corn maze, wagon ride, farm animals, corn box and so much more through November 1 in Hartville.

HIRAM

KENT

Dussel Farm offers a pumpkin patch , corn maze, food and fun throughout the fall season in Kent.

“The entire yard is filled with thousands of pumpkins of all sizes for carving and cooking,” the Dussel Farm website says.

KIRTLAND

The Lake Metroparks Farmpark Corn Maze is now open until October 5 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This year, the corn maze is celebrating the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride to alert colonists that the British were coming.

2025 fall festivals in Northeast Ohio

MANTUA

Three mazes, zip lines, archery, pumpkins, human foosball and so much more are offered at the Derthicks Corn Maze in Mantua. The Derthicks Corn Maze is open every weekend starting on September 12.

MOGADORE

Rufener Hilltop Farms offers plenty of activities, including corn mazes, hay rides, pumpkin picking, a corn pool, pumpkin bowling and more from September 20 through October 31 every Wednesday through Sunday in Mogadore.

NEWTON FALLS

Kuchta Farms offers a 10+ acre corn maze, wagon rides and even has a pumpkin patch in Newton Falls. According to the Kuchta Farms website, there are more than 120 attractions to enjoy.

NORTH LAWRENCE

Nickajack Farms Pumpkin Days has over 70 activities, including hay and pony rides, animals, pumpkins, and so much more, available from September 13 through October 31 in North Lawrence.

OAK HARBOR

Jason’s Pumpkin Patch has pumpkins, apple cider and activities for everyone. The Fall Fest & 25th Anniversary Celebration will also be held on September 20.

PARIS

Arrowhead Orchard has apple orchards, sunflower picking, hayrides and a pumpkin patch. In true fall fashion and orchard style, they even have an apple cannon! The Arrowhead Orchard Fall Festival takes place through November 2 in Paris.

RITTMAN

The Bauman Orchards Fall Festival in Rittman takes place on Saturdays, September 20th, 27 and October 4. Here you can pick your own apples, have homemade cider donuts, go to the petting zoo and do a corn maze. There are plenty of activities and food trucks each day of the festival as well.

VALLEY CITY

The Beriswill Farms’ main attraction this fall is their corn maze! You and your family can enjoy not only the corn maze but also fun fall activities from September 13 through October 31.

WELLINGTON

The Brasee’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch has a several-acre corn maze where you can earn free candy! Other activities include picking your own pumpkins, hayrides, kids’ corn and straw mazes, a petting zoo, a straw slide, a kids’ zipline, concessions and more! Brasee’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 26.

WEST SALEM

With the barn at center stage, Stoney Creek Farms has mazes, hot dogs and s’mores roasting around the fire, and a hayride to the pumpkin patch so you can pick out your very own pumpkin. Stoney Creek Farms is open every weekend through the end of October.
