Remember back in 2020 when Republican legislators were so concerned that giving water or other refreshments to voters might influence their vote? Some states actually passed laws banning the practice.
Fast-forward to the 2025 Wisconsin Supreme Court election, where fears about buying votes with water has evaporated. Instead, we have Elon Musk’s overt campaign to pay in cash.
At least this time we don’t have to worry about Republican outrage.
