Ford is recalling more than 109,000 vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Ford has multiple recalls

Ford is recalling 105,322 2018-2020 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The seat belt pre-tensioner in the driver and/or front passenger seat may inadvertently lock the seat belt, preventing it from retracting or extending.

Dealers will inspect the seat belt retractor date codes and replace the seat belt retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 14, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25S31. Some vehicles in this recall that were previously inspected under recall 24V-099 and did not have parts replaced will need to have this new recall remedy completed.

Ford is also recalling 4,163 2024-2025 F-150, Expedition, and 2024 Lincoln Navigator vehicles equipped with 3.5L GTDI engines. The engine may have a misaligned engine cup plug, which can result in a rapid oil leak.

Dealers will inspect the engine cup plug alignment and replace the plug if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 26. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25S30.

Nissan recalls Kicks

Nissan is recalling 37,003 2025 Kicks vehicles. The certification label may have been printed with the incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating and Gross Axle Weight Rating values, which can overload the vehicle.

General Motors is recalling 10,643 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ vehicles. The owner’s manual inaccurately describes the rear outboard head restraints.

GM will mail the owner’s manual inserts with the correct illustrations and descriptions for rear outboard head restraints free of charge. BMW is recalling 4,397 vehicles because the electrical connection between the starter-generator and battery may come loose.

The vehicles included in the recall are:

  • 2025 4 Series Coupe (430i, 430i xDrive)

  • 2025 4 Series Convertible (430i, 430i xDrive)

  • 2025 4 Series Gran Coupe (430i, 430i xDrive)
