The Jackson City Council is returning to 6 p.m. meetings, starting Tuesday, May 20.
The council meets every other Tuesday, and it will now alternate between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. meetings.
The May 20 meeting will be held at Jackson City Hall. Council members have discussed the return of evening meetings for months as a way to encourage more public attendance and participation.
