Police in Wadesboro say they’re investigating a death at an abandoned convenience store that was discovered Tuesday night.
According to the Wadesboro Police Department, officers were called to an abandoned gas station off Airport Road and Highway 109 North for a homicide investigation.
Police say the victim was from Troy and worked for the city.
Channel 9 looked into jail records in Anson County and didn’t see anybody charged in connection with the homicide case, but police said one person has been arrested.
Police arrested Justin Wright at a home nearby on Barrington Street. He’s been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and murder.
The second suspect is a juvenile and has since been arrested.
Both are now in custody.
Police say the investigation is still pending.
