Louisville Metro Police have arrested a juvenile in connection to a June 6 shooting in the Hermitage Court area of east Louisville.
According to an LMPD spokesperson, the juvenile, whose identity is not being released because of their age, was charged with first degree assault (complicity) and possession of a handgun by a minor.
Around 4:15 p.m. on June 6, LMPD were called to Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital, 4001 Dutchmans Lane, in response to two gunshot victims who were brought in via private transport.
The victims, an adult male and a minor, each had multiple gunshot wounds and were transported to area hospitals in downtown Louisville. Both patients are expected to survive.
A preliminary investigation by LMPD revealed the shooting occurred in the 8800 block of Hermitage Court. The non-fatal shooting unit is investigating.
