Police have arrested a homeless man and his accomplice for beating a 60-year-old man to death in the Bronx last month.
Suspects Nixon Gordon, 25, and Junior Mills, 40, were charged with manslaughter and assault for the May 18 beatdown that later killed victim Kevin Bell.
Officers responding to a 911 call found Bell badly injured near Elliot Place and Walton Ave. in Mt. Eden at about 12:05 a.m., cops said.
Medics rushed the victim to BronxCare Health System where he was later pronounced dead.
The city medical examiner’s office ruled Bell’s death a homicide days later.
Police nabbed Mills Monday, and he was ordered held without bail at his arraignment. He is set to return to court on June 30, Department of Correction records show.
Cops arrested Gordon, who is homeless, on Friday. His arraignment was pending Saturday morning.
