The Berks County sheriff’s office is seeking the following fugitives:
Axel Caraballo-Morales
Axel Caraballo-Morales, 33, whose last known address was in the 200 block of Jackson Street, Reading, is wanted on criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault and persons not to possess a firearm charges.
Reading police said Caraballo-Morales got into a verbal argument with the victim while in her vehicle on April 3. The argument continued until they arrived at the defendant’s residence. Caraballo-Morales and went into his residence while the victim stayed in her vehicle. Caraballo-Morales came back out with a modified handgun and shot at the her multiple times. The victim was not struck. Her vehicle had multiple bullet holes. The victim contacted police, who filed charges that day.
He is described as 6 feet 1 inch and 165 pounds.
Sonic Torres-Marrero
Sonic Torres-Marrero, 51, whose last known address was in the 1200 block of Avenue D, Reading, is wanted on materially false written statement – purchase of a firearm charges.
Police said Torres-Marrero tried to buy a firearm at Gun Traders, 3201 Pottsville Pike, Muhlenberg Township, on March 1, 2018. According to the background check, Torres-Marrero is prohibited from possessing a firearm because of an armed robbery conviction in Massachusetts.
He is described as 6 feet and 235 pounds.
