A Lee County jury has found a Fort Myers drug-trafficker guilty of more than a dozen charges related to cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl sales across Southwest Florida.
According to court records, a NETFORCE Task Force investigation into Kevin Joseph Jaimes, 30, began in July 2022 and continued through February 2023.
Jaimes was arrested in April 2023 as part of a sweep of 26 people. Officials seized $250,000 and 20 guns, they said.

An arrest affidavit indicates an undercover Lee County Sheriff’s deputy arranged several transactions in which the deputy bought cocaine and other drugs and monitored Jaimes’ phone for other sales. Jaimes arrived at those undercover buys in a black Jaguar SUV.
Jaimes’ charges include sales, possession and trafficking of cocaine, fentanyl, as well as conspiracy to traffic drugs.
A jury returned the guilty verdict following a five-day trial in Lee County in early April.
State Attorney Amira Fox formed NETFORCE in conjunction with law enforcement agency partners, to coordinate a circuit-wide approach to infiltrating and dismantling drug trafficking organizations and other criminal enterprises in Southwest Florida.
Sentencing for Jaimes is May 6, 2025. He has remained in Lee County Jail since his 2023 arrest, records indicate.
There are 6 co-defendants awaiting trial.
Assistant State Attorney Katherine Rumley, Chief of Narcotics, and Assistant State Attorney Adam Sullivan prosecuted the case.
