A group in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area is offering help and support to the family of the motorcyclist who was found in the Ohio River after a crash on the Taylor Southgate Bridge.
The Fallen Biker’s and Ryders Foundation works with grieving families after tragic motorcycle and car crashes.
Dayshia Moore, the organization‘s founder, said it’s scary for both bikers and drivers every day they are on the road.
When tragedies like the June 28 one on the Taylor Southgate Bridge happen, they want to support the families and help honor those who have lost their lives.
“A lot of young riders have been going down this year,” said Moore. “We’re seeing ages 18 to 30, it’s been a hard impact on our community. We just have to stick together and be safe.”
Moore said she started Fallen Bikers and Riders three years ago to support family members of people killed riding motorcycles, bikes and driving cars.
She said these tragedies hit the entire community and many grieving families need support.
“It’s a hard impact on the parents,” explained Moore. “I hear these parents weep over their children, and I don’t know what to say.”
Moore said after a tragic crash, she provides families with special tokens to remember their loved one.

The Fallen Bikers and Riders founder preaches safety, especially to newer motorcyclists, while on the road.
“Wear our helmets, watch our speed, watch if it’s going to rain or whatever, and just ride so that our drivers can see us,” Moore said.
Tajia Blake is a member of The Fallen Biker’s and Ryders Foundation.
She said it is important for family and friends to seek help after suffering a loss.
“We provide resources afterwards because it’s easy to show up during the initial time of loss; However, some other families need additional resources, grief counseling, how to move on,” Blake said.
Moore and Blake said that whether you’re driving a car or a motorcycle, you always need to be aware of your surroundings to keep yourself and others safe.
