When will the Iowa DOT close eastbound I-80?
Eastbound I-80 between Grand Prairie Parkway (exit 118) and the I-35/I-80 West Mixmaster will be completely closed from 8 p.m. on Monday, July 7, until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8.

When construction begins, drivers will follow the marked detour route using Grand Prairie Parkway (exit 118), heading north to University Avenue and traveling east before reconnecting with I-80/I-35 (exit 124).
