Deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 27-year-old Pensacola man July 5 after he allegedly shot his uncle.
Oneal Thompson was booked into Escambia County jail on a homicide charged after allegedly fatally shooting his uncle in a Lakewood Road home near Alba Plena Street.
The ECSO told the News Journal the shooting stemmed from an argument over a broken television. The uncle had reportedly given the TV to Thompson and was threatening to take it back, which led to a confrontation and then the shooting, according to ECSO.
Thompson is held in Escambia County jail without bond.
