The median home sold for $326,000, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows. That means April, the most recent month for which figures are available, was slightly up from March.
Compared to April 2024, the median home sales price was up 5.2% compared to $310,000.
Realtor.com sources sales data from real estate deeds, resulting in a few months’ delay in the data. The statistics don’t include homes currently listed for sale and aren’t directly comparable to listings data.

Looking only at single-family homes, the $356,200 median selling price in Washington County was up 4% in April from $342,500 the month prior. Since April 2024, the sales price of single-family homes was up 8.9% from a median of $327,000.No single-family homes sold for $1 million or more during the month.
Condominiums and townhomes increased by 13.3% in sales price during April to a median of $279,950 from $247,000 in March. Compared to April 2024, the sales price of condominiums and townhomes was up 14.7% from $244,000. No condominiums or townhomes sold for $1 million or more during April.

In April, the number of recorded sales in Washington County rose by 1.2% since April 2024 — from 167 to 169. All residential home sales totaled $57 million.
Across Maryland, homes sold at a median of $410,550 during April, up 2.9% from $399,080 in March. There were 6,949 recorded sales across the state during April, a slight increase from 6,930 recorded sales in April 2024.
