A woman is in custody after a reported stabbing outside Jewish Hospital Saturday morning, Louisville Metro Police spokesperson John Bradley said.
A female employee reported she was stabbed after she left the hospital around 7:15 a.m., Bradley said. The employee returned inside for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Officers located the suspect, a woman, on Broadway between Third and Fourth streets, according to an arrest citation. Officers allege the woman ran from police until stopping near Third and York streets, when she was taken into custody.
Lacy Wilson, 34, faces second degree assault, third degree assault of a healthcare provider and fleeing or evading police to the third degree. Wilson, who was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections Saturday, has an arraignment hearing set for 9 a.m. Monday in Jefferson District Court, according to court records.
