A 29-year-old Graniteville man has been charged with sexually exploiting children.
Aiken County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Sean Benjamin Cushman of Graniteville after pursuing a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the ACSO reported Thursday.
Warrants executed by the ACSO at Cushman’s home revealed several photos and video captures in a computer at the residence showing boys and girls estimated to be between ages 7 and 13 in varied stages of undress and nude exposure.
The ACSO’s investigation and arrest were assisted the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, which will be prosecuting the case; the state Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon, which all have investigators assigned to the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force; and the Burnettown, S.C., Police Department.
