The body of a 48-year-old was recovered from Lake Michigan on August 10, however authorities say it does not appear to be related to the historic flooding that struck Milwaukee over the weekend.
The person was recovered about 10:30 a.m. on the 500 block of North Harbor Drive, the Milwaukee Police Department said in a news release. Police continue to investigate the cause of death, but said it does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for the identity of the victim.
