Police are investigating a killing early Thursday morning in Chesapeake.
Just before 2:10 a.m., police officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 2900 block S. Military Highway in the city’s Deep Creek area.
Upon arrival, officers found a male who had been shot, according to a release. First aid was given, but the person was pronounced dead by medics at the scene.
The male’s age was not provided and no other information was immediately available.
