A 31-year-old Chichester man was arrested in Barnstead after a police chase through Loudon, Chichester and Pittsfield on Sunday morning, State Police said.
Dylan Beaudet was eventually found on Bow Lake Road in Barnstead, where he was arrested. The pursuit started with Loudon police on Route 106. Local officers told State Police that Beaudet crossed into the opposite lane of travel and drove in the wrong direction multiple times, authorities said.
After the chase continued into Pittsfield, troopers took over the pursuit but broke off the chase for public safety reasons, police said.
A short time later, Beaudet’s vehicle was found abandoned on Tilton Hill Road in Pittsfield. A police dog tracked Beaudet to Bow Lake Road.
Beaudet was brought back to the Loudon Police Department for processing. Charges are pending, police said.
