The two surviving victims of a shooting Thursday, Sept. 11, in Port Huron are recovering from their injuries, according to police.
Port Huron Assistant Police Chief Jeremy Young said the 13-year-old boy who was injured in the shooting on Glenview Court was doing well after being transported to a hospital in Detroit. His 12-year-old sister is also in stable condition.
Their father was arrested following the shooting that also killed the children’s 17-year-old brother.
Port Huron Police Chief Brian Kerrigan said the children’s mother and a 20-year-old son struggled with the father during the incident and prevented more injuries.
